Black Pants
Black Bootie or Socks
Adult Sized Black Socks
Old Newspaper
Safety Pins

Putting your Baby Spider Costume Together:

Step 1: First, you need to deck you baby out in black from the top of his or her head to the tip of their little toes. They should look like a little ninja.

Step 2: Next, take six large adult socks. The socks need to have a high rise, ankle socks or crew socks won’t work for this costume. Stuff each sock with wadded up newspaper. Make sure that each sock is stuffed so that it bends like a foot shape. These will be six of the eight spider legs. Your little ones arms will be the the other two.

Step 3: To finish making this costume pin the stuffed socks to the sides of your little one. Three legs will go on one side, and three will go on the other. The pins should be attached to the shirt, two at the shoulder and the other two evenly spaced under your babies arms at their side.
