How to Make a Sheep Costumes

Are you the black sheep of your family? Want to blend into the flock this Halloween? This easy homemade sheep costume will really get your friends and family talking. All you need to make this cuddly and creative sheep costume is a little bit of craft know how and few things from around the house.

Things you’ll Need:

Cotton Balls
Needle and Thread
Thin Cardboard
White Sweat Pants
White Hooded Sweatshirt
Fabric Glue

Putting your Sheep Costume Together:

Step 1: The first thing that you need to do to make this costume is glue cotton balls to the sweat pants. The cotton balls will be all over, covering the entire pair of pants. Make sure they are firmly in place and that you use a strong fabric glue otherwise you will be leaving a trail of cotton balls every place you go.

Step 2: Using the cardboard cut out two large ear shapes. Cut four equally sized ear shapes out of the white felt. Take one piece or cardboard and glue one felt ear piece to the front and another to the back. Do the same with the other cardboard ear. At the base of the ear pinch the ends together to create the ear fold that sheep have. Sew the pinched part together on each ear and then attach the ear base one on each side of the hood to the sweatshirt.

Step 3: To finish the costume off cover the entire hooded sweatshirt in cotton balls as you did the sweat pants.
