Madame Serena Fortune Teller Costume
I began by purchasing a grand wardrobe box from U-Haul. I then purchased a bucket of red paint and a glass bulb from a hardware store. We made the hole for the window, then glued the coins on and hung some curtains. We also took stencils and painted on the lettering. Lastly, for my actual clothes I decided to go with mostly things I had around the house such as a long skit, a simple shirt, some rings and wild blue eye shadow. The head piece is a borrowed scarf and the coins on the string are from the cloth center at Walmart, you can buy it by the yard. My bangles are from the dollar store and that is pretty much it.
