Precious Peacock Costumes

To create my daughter's peacock costume, I handpainted a basic long-sleeved tee with shimmery blues and decorated the collar with royal blue and teal jewels. To create the fan of feathers, I glued them with hot glue onto a paper plate, overlapping them as needed to create a full fan. This was then glued directly onto the tee. A poofy tutu made of royal blue, light blue, purple, and black tulle was adorned with more jewels. A basic headband was decorated with royal blue pipecleaners strategically bent to resemble the fancy feathers on the head. I then drew fancy eyelashes on with an eyeliner pencil and added a jewel to each temple and secured it with clear nail polish.

She was beautiful! The eyelashes and temple jewels perfect!
