Statue of Liberty Costumes
My 10 year old daughter wanted a unique costume and came up with the Statue of Liberty. The outfit was made from some material purchased at Hobby Lobby. The base of the crown is a tiara with a cardboard base and points around it. Fabric was hot glued to the cardboard so that the colors would match. The base of the torch is cardboard with a flashlight inserted in the middle. The flames were made out of construction paper. Teal Green and White face paint were mixed together to match the color of the outfit and was applied to the face and hair.
